April 2017 Meeting – Ethics

April 25, 2017
The monthly meeting for April, 2017 will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the San Antonio Country Club, at 4100 N. New Braunfels Ave., San Antonio, Texas.

Put down, for a little while, your Fiesta cascarones and make a dent in your Ethics CLE Requirement*.

The program will be Ethics: Issues Involving Counsel in Recent Bankruptcy Cases.   Our speakers are  Jim Rose and Kevin Epstein.  

Social begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by an informative presentation at 5:30 p.m.

The monthly meeting for March, 2017 will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the San Antonio Country Club, at 4100 N. New Braunfels  Ave., San Antonio, Texas.

Our speaker is JAMES DINGIVAN,. The program will be “Servicemembers’ and Veterans’ Civil Protections”

Mr. Dingivan is an Assistant United States Attorney, Western District of Texas.

Mr. Dingivan is a graduate of Emory University Law School, in 2008, and is formerly Area Defense Counsel at JBSA, Lackland.

The Honorable Judge Gargotta is the guest speaker for SABBA on October 25, 2016 at 5:30 P.M. at the monthly meeting of the San Antonio Bar Association.

Please note that Judge Gargotta will discuss three bankruptcy cases wherein the Supreme Court has granted certiorari. In addition, Judge Gargotta will briefly discuss issues regarding compliance with local rules and new Chapter 13 Standing Order.
