Repeating the Request from JOSEPH W. SHULTER:
Greetings:
As many of you know, I sit on the Bankruptcy Court Subcommittee of the Federal Courts Committee of the San Antonio Bar Association. This committee was envisioned to be your liaison and method of contact with the bankruptcy judges, trustees and clerk’s office.
Judges King and Gargotta are moving toward a return to in-person court hearings and asked that I poll the consumer debtor and creditor attorneys as to your opinions and preferences for timing and methodology.
In that regard, please briefly answer a few questions below.
1. Are you ready to return to live, in-person court appearances? (All hearings? Just contested? Thoughts?)
2. What about 341s?
3. Other comments?
I hope all will participate in this most important decision making process. We are very fortunate to have responsive and courteous judges who truly listen to the bar’s concerns and needs.
Please make sure to carefully read your hearing notices as they will now start to specify which hearings are in person and which are by telephone, etc.
Thanks,
JOSEPH W. SHULTER
