This is the 21st year of doing the survey work and it has been used by state and federal Courts and government agencies nationwide in awarding more than thirty million dollars of attorney fees in consumer law cases and disputes all over the country. The published Reports contain detailed city and state law practice data, but there still has never been any charge for the Reports that are generously posted online with NACA, NACBA, NCLC, and on the survey web site.

As always, the survey does not obtain any personal information or source at all, there is no charge to participate and no charge for obtaining the published survey results.

The current 14-year term of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Craig A. Gargotta of the Western District of Texas will expire September 30, 2021. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit is considering whether to reappoint Judge Gargotta to a new 14-year term. Upon reappointment, Judge Gargotta would continue to exercise all jurisdiction permitted a bankruptcy judge under federal law. Members of the bar and the public are invited and requested to submit comments for consideration by the court before it decides whether to reappoint Judge Gargotta to a new term. All comments will be kept CONFIDENTIAL and should be directed to Mr. Theodore P.
